    Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    I recommend this book to anyone that grew up in the 80's with the dawn of computers and is now seeing the frustrations of economic life.


    Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

    The plot twists and turns through the path of two main 'hero's'. Which one will be the real hero is the question.


    What does Jeff Gurner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Good voice, didnt lull me to sleep. However, I still smirk when gun shots are read as 'boom'.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    One sitting would be too long at 15hours. I listened to it over a week at about 2 hours a day. I didnt mind when traffic was snarled up as I just got to hear more.

    Just downloaded the sequel, Freedom. I hope that it is true to a great start.

    After investing over 60 hours in Fall of Giant and Winter World by Ken Follett and read by John Lee, I found myself getting a headache at the speed at which this story was being read by Ms. Gibson. I will return to this in the future and give it another attempt but for now this will remain partially listened to in my library.

    Truly drawn into the lives and times of the day. Great points of view from the different families. Always left wondering, between listens, what was coming next and how the families are connected, or not connected.

    The vocal performances were all great. A great variable tone in the voices to keep you wanting to listen longer and longer.


    If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Who is gonna protect you!

    Really enjoyed the story. The end clearly wants another book to be written. Without a follow up book, the end was wrapped up very quickly and left me unsatisfied. However, that feeling was not long lasting as I recalled the full story and my favourite character Red Saviour. She was just awesome.
