In winter, Brianna Concannon's bed-and-breakfast is a cold and empty place. And that's fine with Brianna. She enjoys the peace and quiet, even when icy winds howl at her window. This year, though, she's expecting an unusual guest: mystery writer Grayson Thane, from America. And sometimes a fire can be born in ice.

I don't usually like romance novels but this was entertaining! The narrator made it even better. I use audiobooks to exercise to so needless to say, I didn't miss my morning walking and even followed up by walking in the evening! LOL

I purchased the Agatha Raisin books on my mother's recommendation. The narrator Penelope Keith is wonderful and makes the characters in the book entertaining. Agatha is an independant older woman who is always getting into mischief and embarrasing herself while trying to solve mysteries. I laughed out loud! Great series! I wish Audible had the whole series.

Unburdened by old-fashioned ideas of fair play, the ruthless Agatha decides to ensure she wins by buying her entry from a London delicatessen.

It is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media - as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents - the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter - but is he really a killer?

Lacey Terwilliger's shock and humiliation over her husband's philandering prompt her to add some bonus material to Mike's company newsletter: stunning Technicolor descriptions of the special brand of "administrative support" his receptionist gives him. The detailed mass e-mail to Mike's family, friends, and clients blows up in her face, and before one can say "instant urban legend", Lacey has become the pariah of her small Kentucky town and a media punch line....

In late 2003, in his column in Entertainment Weekly, Stephen King called The Memory of Running "the best novel you won't read this year." Also, Warner Brothers has shelled out big bucks for the movie rights to The Memory of Running, for which McLarty will write the script.
