I love 30 rock and I liked a lot of this book, but at times it seemed rushed, as though there should have been one more re-write to organize the ideas. Also, I liked Tina reading the book most of the time, but every once in a while she'd get into a pattern of fading away at the end of every sentence and I found this distracting. Overall worth the money though, a good listen.

The story was wonderfully written and the characters are interesting and loveable. Even though the plot does not sound complex if discussed on the surface, the writing is well-done and the story draws you in until you can't wait for the next part in the series.

I have not listened to Davina Porter except for in this series, but she is fantastic and easy to listen to. Usually I do not like female narrators, but Davina Porter is excellent.

I didn't like this book nearly as much as The #1 Ladies Detective Agency. I thought the pace was crawling, and regretted purchasing it.

Listened to it twice ina row, I loved it and thought it just as good as watching the movie as far as pace and style. Good narrator.

This books makes you feel like the African mother you never knew you had is telling you a bedtime story.

I am a science fiction fan, but this book is all description of the science fiction, with hardly any plot and no interesting characters. I was very disappointed in this book. If you are looking for something similar that is a good quality listen, try Terry Pratchett or Neil Gaiman.
