Loved the story to begin with but hearing it read by Juliet Stevenson really brought the characters to life.
I absolutely loved this story - felt by the end that I knew all of them and wanted more. Am afraid to see the movie because the characters are still so alive in my head, not sure any actors can do them justice.
I very much enjoyed listening to Jenna Lamia narrate a story and she definitely doesn't disappoint here. The story is a wonderful coming of age
I think I would have preferred Juliet Stevenson's narration but otherwise truly loved it - this is by far my favorite Jane Austen novel.
I truly didn't get the point of this story - I kept waiting for the "wonder" which never came. I tried hard to like the characters and found myself not caring whether any of the survived. I think the narrator did a good job of telling the story - just not much to go on
To realize that so much of this story is still relevant today is a very frightening.
