    Story
If you could sum up Paper Towns in three words, what would they be?

    Wonderful story.

What did you like best about this story?

The main character, Q. He is extraordinarily ordinary.

What does the narrator bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator brought the characters to life. On prom night when Ben keeps saying "yes" is hilarious.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I don't know if it moved me, but it really stuck out. Metaphysical eye spy. I really think I need to play this.

    Any additional comments?

There are so many moments in this story that are great. I need a hard copy so I can highlight all the quotes.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

Jan says: "What a great surprise!"
"Wonderful story and narration. Must listen."

Would you consider the audio edition of The Help to be better than the print version?

The narration was wonderful. The best I have listened to. Based in this, I would have to say yes.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Help?

The pie. If you read or listened to this, you know what I'm talking about.

    Any additional comments?

Listen to this book. Don't waste your time with the movie. There is so much more with the book.

Two girls, two centuries apart. One never knowing the other. But when Andi finds Alexandrine’s diary, she recognizes something in her words and is moved to the point of obsession. There’s comfort and distraction for Andi in the journal’s antique pages - until, on a midnight journey through the catacombs of Paris, Alexandrine’s words transcend paper and time, and the past becomes suddenly, terrifyingly present.

Would you try another book from Jennifer Donnelly and/or Emily Janice Card and Emma Bering ?

I didn't care for this story much. If I had it in print, I'm not sure I would have finished it. I don't think I would try another book by Jennifer Donnelly. It wasn't bad, just not might type of story.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I don't remember the ending which probably says a lot.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    No.

Would you listen to Looking for Alibrandi again? Why?

    Definitely.

What did you like best about this story?

The journey. I love stories like this that don't necessarily turn out with the happy ever after ending that you expect. But, the ending is just right. The way it should be.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I had the time, I would love to listen in one sitting.

    Any additional comments?

Anything written by Melinda Marchetta is a must read/listen.
