Listening to it while preparing dinner each night with my boyfriend who has stage recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The things discussed where topics I was frightened of bringing up with my boyfriend. it gave lots of ideas to discuss. As a result of listening to this I have changed my partners diet by about 75%.
Never give up.
No there is too much to learn, consider and absorb.
When things seem hopeless this book and the authors observations made me reconsider and gave me things I could do to make myself feel like I was helping.
Probably I don't get a lot of time to sit down and read this is more a book I would listen to as I chores
It is like the Hunger Games series a girl having to realise that there is more to life than her life and you need to stand up
My favourite scenes are with Lin Cinder & Thorn he is such a Han Solo type character but not in a copy cat way. I also like the Cinder & Iko dynamic especially the last scene and the there last conversation.
No it was just a story.
I didn't really like the Scarlett & Wolf relationship it was too intense too soon.
Don't know I felt like it was trying to be the Hunger Games. Incarceron was interesting and the only reason I purchased this was to find out what happened it the end. Nothing happened in the end.
Probably not unless I saw good reviews about it.
The story could have been better I didn't like the main characters I like the supporting characters.
Confusions who did she really love?
That religious stuff in it was stupid and when the teacher turned into sapphique it was dumb
No I wouldn't listen to it again I don't really re-read books that often
Cinder was my favourite character because she accepted her life and tried to make the most of it
the little android Iko?
Yes but I didn't
I listed to this book over 4 days it made me do housework and gardening just so I could keep listening to it.
Yes definitely. We drove home from Canberra and listened to it it kept us entertained for the 8 hour drive. It is an authur both males and females can listen to and Terry Pratchett is so funny.
Angela was my favourite. Because she didn't follow conventions and decided what she was going to do with her life and her fortune help people specifically poor people and liked her even more when I found out it was based on a real person.
The opening scene when Dodger saves Simplicity and gets taken back to the house and all the bits with the Dog Oban?
Yes we listened to probably 80% of it on the drive home.
This is a great non disc world book and if this is Terry Pratchett writing when he has Alzeimer whatcould he have done.
That I had no idea what was going to happen and that the end was very satisfying and everything got answered.
All the demons - because they weren't bad they just didn't want to be one cult obsessed and worship blindly. They wanted to choose for themselves.
I did like Daniel I just got a bit sick of his do goodyness.
If you like fantasy you ill like this. It is very similar to Twilight series but in my opinion it finished better.
Romantic, outworldly, exciting
My favourite character is Luc because she keeps trying.
The one when she realised that the gargoyle was not helping her.
Maybe if I was driving somewhere by myself I would make my partner listen to it all.
Don't judge this book it is just a escapism and it is entertaining.
It is fun and fantasy no reality it lets me disconnect from the troubles of my life. I am a romantic and thinking that everything will work out in the end is what I want.
Of course Twilight and City of Bones
The final battle at then end when Luce decides that she might love Daniel but she needs to find herself first.
No it didn't make me cry or laugh but I did worry for the lives of some of my fav characters.
Just listen and loose yourself from your worries, like your dead end job, partner with cancer, house that needs to be vacumed, lawn to mow, weeds to pull. Escape!!
I haven't read the book I have only listened to it.
Fantasy and romance.
Yes when Luc was rescued from the fire.
I was cooking and gardening when I listened and it made these tasks enjoyable.
I can;t remember her name but she was the Su army leader.
The different narrators and their different accents make the story feel like it really was a global problem.
The blind atomic bomb surviror from Japan.
The way that it is written makes the story seem true.
