Probably not, Emily Eiden is enthralling. She brings the story to life!
Not a book, but think about the movie Clueless. Cher is flighty and silly at times, yet very smart and caring. You can't help but love her. For me, that is Evie. Full of surprises.
Her Evie is so cute! Fun, sassy, feisty. Her other character voices are great. She does a few accents that are just fine. I also really dug her Lish voice. Not easy to be a computer, and one that doesn't drive you nuts.
Poor Lish. That's all I can say.
The humor mixed with touching, serious moments was really excellent. This book made me laugh out loud. It painted pictures with such great detail, and you cannot help but love Evie!
Oh yes. So well written, such good vocal work, such a wonderful turn and redemption for the characters!
Oh all the steamy moments between Juliette and Warner. And Juliette's evolution. Sooooo good!
My darling Kenji. What a great character.
I cheered for the ending! I want more!
A different narrator. Her voices are terrible. It's almost like she's mocking the characters.
Terrible voices. Her main man is Russian and talks a lot. Don't you think you would want to perfect the accent? It was painful. The supporting characters have a dopey tone. Why didn't someone fix this in the studio?
Will be requesting a refund. What a waste, the story was good.
Crazy Good. Yes.
Zephyr! Best heroine ever. Better than Carrie in Sex and the City. Funny, odd, caring, crazy, the kind of girl I'd want to hang out with!
Her really solid voices. There wasn't a question abut who was talking. Lovely French accent, which can be painful if done wrong.
Zephyr! We would have such a good time gossiping about everything!
This was such a crazy story. I laughed so much, which is worth five stars alone. Add in all the unique characters and you have a hit. I really loved the Sterling Girls and of course Gregory. Give this book a listen. You will love it!
Yes, she's a consistently awesome narrator. Always does a great job with unique voices.
No and I think that's the problem. The book was just OK. Not very special, not horrible. I didn't hate it and I didn't love it.
Sure if I was bored.
The Jane Jameson series, and unfortunately, this book wasn't even close.
Her voices are fun, original, and distinct.
Not bad, maybe if I hadn't listened to the Jane Jameson series first, I would have more passion for this book.
Yes because Angela Dawe does some great voices. Particularly Ray and the Devil. Good work.
Oh everything Mab. I loved her. LOVE.
Yes and this one blew the other performance out of the water!
I almost quit on this book. It started out pretty slow. But the more I listened the more I loved, the more connected I felt. I loved Mab's evolution, loved Fun, loved the concept in general. I'm so glad I stuck with it. In fact, as soon as it ended, I started it over again and loved it even more!
Jane of course!
Yes when it was over I wanted to download the next book immediately, but then I realized there wasn't one! Why can't there be a 5th 6th or 7th book?
I loved the ending and really appreciated the humor in this series. I loved Jane's maternal side too!
Yes! Laugh out loud funny, characters you care about, and a witty kick butt heroine. Great stuff!
The sister face off was pretty great!
Unique voices, brings the characters to life!
I find it hysterical the messes Jane always ends up in. Life is never dull for her, that's for sure!
Sam, terrible person.
No, but I look forward to trying other books in the genre.
She's great. The book was NOT.
No and I will be requesting a refund.
There was certainly a cinematic feel to this book, so that was a saving grace. But the truth is, Sam has zero redeeming qualities. He took complete advantage of Abby and did some truly despicable things. And Abby was quite ridiculous in her naivety.
Laugh out loud!
Any moments involving the animals were classic. And almost anything that came out of Tommy's mouth. So goofy, adorable, nerdy, hug-worthy.
The Emperor of course!
I'm so glad I got this! It was so funny! Definitely one of those books you listen to when you need a break from heavy story lines and irritating love triangles. Highly recommend, you'll laugh a lot!
