How dark and sick can a writer get, Swan Peak should be in the batch that could be burned and never missed. I unloaded this before the 4th chapter...I didn't even want it on my list.
Sad that a person could think of such brutality and human suffering.
Figured out the who-dunit, before the 2nd chapter. No twist-or-turns just listened until it was finally over. Reader was good.
Bought a couple of other books from Kate Wilhelm, hope they aren't all this predictable.
The narraters did such a great job, really made the story for me. I enjoyed this book, think you will also.
This was a long book, but never boring.
The reader was excellant.
Everytime I tuned in I was instantly there.
Seeing, feeling, smelling what the writer was writing about. A great auidio book.
This was slow going...with a weak ending.
Entertaining, but got a little long. Kept wondering how much longer. But all and all I enjoyed the book and made me think. I liked that
Really Good Book. I enjoyed both writer and reader.
This was my first book from this writer, but definitely will look for more books from her.
Save yourself and your money.
My first and last book by this author.
It was so bad I couldn't even finish it.
Every bit of it was bad. Lanuage, characters, and plot though I couldn't even see one developing. Really what can one say about the worst book ever read or listen too.
Felt sorry for the reader that had to read this through, and couldn't just delete it.
Which I did before even getting through part one.
A little slow and not much action.
An okay story line, wanted to hear it because of the movie coming out. Don't think I much care to see the movie now.
I listen to this on a long overseas flight. I believe I was the only person enjoying myself on that flight.
