"companion book to a Paris Wife"
I don't read/listen to stories twice
Hemingway's perspective and his compassion for first wife
it was good
Early Hemingway
"great idea for a story"
yes, it is such an interesting concept
I guess the protagonist, altho she wasn't developed enough
Don't know if I have or not, don't pay much attention. Sad, isn't it?
not
hard to follow story line as it jumps from one episode to another. Each episode is hard to leave - wanting to know more
"A Paris Wife"
I prefer audio
Hadley
I put myself right into her shoes and felt immersed in the story
Hadley
It would have been nice, but it wasn't possible....so I could hardly wait to get back to it.
Reviewed this book at book club. Some people hated it. It was very sad. Some people loved it. Had to purchase the companion book by Ernest Hemingtonway that tells of the early Paris years from his perspective. One mark of a good book is that it gives the reader such a strong emotional feeling. This book certainly does that.
