Adam Corolla's book was amusing, if I'm being generous. It starts off average and tails off from there. The structure of the book using his homes through out his life was different and interesting. The cursing was not excessive in my opinion and suited the stories. Adam Corolla does the opposite of finding the humor in the everyday: he relates surreal and outrageous incidents and his friend's juvenile antics, but doesn't give them life. It's like listening to your boring, misogynistic, racist, dad tell the stories of his life for eight hours. "sure dad, that time you beat up those dorks after football practice must have been sooo fun". Yes some of the stories he tells will amuse you and many of them will shock you. He chuckles through all of them -- more amused with his stories than you will be.
