You can never learn enough about the Eucharist. I have read and listen to numerous book on the subject. I always learn something new. This book is good for the lifelong Catholic or someone just wanting to know about the faith.

Rob Inglis does a wonderful job reading the book because of his ablity to do all the voices. The story is of course great.

In this story, Ms. Noonan relates to us her life as a Catholic and how Pope John Paul the second affected her life. She does have some facts about the Pope's life and teachings, but to a large extent most of this book is a catharsis for her to tell us about the effects that the Pope had on her life. Also, there are some minor editing errors such as errors such as when she referred to 1 Corinthians chapter 13, she stated verse 13. Also when she sided the Beatitudes, she also added the commandments into there ( as well as other teachings.) Overall, I enjoyed the book, but it is hardly a theological treatise. Perhaps it was not intended to be.

Fr. Barron does a phenomenal job here, as he dose with the TV series. The Catholic Religion is something you can study for a life time and still not know all of it. Fr. Barron does a great job of covering a wide variety of topics, but due to the amount of space he has can only go so deep into each topic. For example, when he speaks of the saints, There are hundreds or maybe thousands of recognized saints, but he only has time for a brief biography of four saints: Sts Edith Stein, Therese of Lisieux,Katharine Drexel, and Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta. I recommend this for anyone who is not Catholic and wants to learn more about the faith or is Catholic and wants to dig deeper.

Mother Teresa was a phenomenal individual. She was called by God to do great things. She reminds us that he did not also called us to do great things. The narration in this book is excellent. The parts where we hear recordings of Mother Teresa are sometimes difficult to understand, but overall well worth the effort. I would highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to learn about Mother Teresa and improves her own spiritual life.

Like many of the other reviewers have said, they spent way too much time trying to disprove God. I would have like to have seen more time explaining the science rather than trying disprove God. Hawkins is a great a scientist and teacher. He is one of the reasons I develop an interest in cosmology, but he is not so good as a philosopher. By the way, the book Handbook to Christian Apologetics by Peter Kreft disproves his arguments one by one.

This book gives a very in depth analysis of John Paul II theology of the body. I am not a theologian and I can understand about 50% of it. I would still recommend it. The 50% I understool was pretty good.

This book is clearly bias towards the Catholic Church, but I a world so anti-religious, it is good to get both sides.

I am a devout Catholic. Fr. Rohr seemed a little too full of himself. The pope's way was not quite right. The saint's way was not quite right. Only his way was right. This is the first book I just stop listening to.
