Yes. I really enjoyed this. I have a practice of listening to books on tape as I power walk on the treadmill each morning. I especially like listening to titles that are motivating and supportive. Brene Brown is funny, inspiring, motivating and helpful. This particular title has a lot of her best lessons embedded into one tape. I also like her voice and style of presentation. Her wholeheartedness really comes through and is infectious.
The messages about living wholeheartedly and guideposts for how to do it.
Her voice is great. Very real and touching. She has an infectious laugh and is very inspiring. I can only imagine it's so much better hearing her than reading this.
Living wholeheartedly means taking time for rest and play. We can allow ourselves to do this.
A great listen. I highly recommend it. I've gifted it to several of my friends.
Someone who can tolerate the style of the narration. I felt it was not in keeping with the book's message. This is a thoughtful book and the narrator's style was too perky and stilted.
Too perky for the subject. It distracted from the book's message, I thought.
The underlying message of the book. I just didn't like the narration.
