"Enjoyed the whole story"
I think Tim Egan did a fantastic job of telling the story. It is among my favorites.
The worst hard time, the story of the dust bowl
The reading did bring the story to life.
You should listen to this book!
"Mench"
no they are about the same
I love that Jon puts his heart in his stories.
Laughter through the tears.
Jon comes alive in his stories, I feel like I know him and the transformation of his life.
"Heartfelt story of his life"
Open was a great book, I knew little of Andre Agassi's life and he is truly an amazing fellow.
Above all odds.
Listening to this book made me aware that there is a huge price to pay for such athletic success.
"Interesting was more like a novel than nonfiction"
I liked the book a lot, it was a interesting and I had known nothing of her life.
forever living and part of research
"Fantastic book"
I listened to this book twice.
The performance was fast enough to move through content but clear enough to allow you to pick up the concepts.
I wanted to listen to this book in one drive but found myself thinking about what I heard and applying it to the people and situations in my life.
This book gave me great insight to some of the people closest to me. Really a wondeful listen.
"Wake up US - it's a global world"
I preferred the audio version of this book.
It is a good recap of history and what we need to do to get back to being a leader in the world!
"Learned something about JFK"
I would recommend the book, it took a different view on history. I was pleasantly surprised to hear Chris Matthews perspective.
More than just hype
I heard a different side of JFK, the book was well done and an easy listen for the car.
"big concept"
It was a very good book but I felt the concept would be better understood listening more than once or reading the actaul book
Similar but not a clearly articulated as his first book How we Decide.
I would have preferred to have read the book
think big!
"Talk Therapy"
Carrie Fisher doesn't read the book, she screams it. Then same old story about substance abuse and mental illness from a Hollywood celebrity.
"Entertaining Listen"
I could not stop listening to this book. The narrator was perfect for the story. Hard to believe this bigger than life guy was able to write about his experiences with the FBI.
