Six guns, whips, and wild, wild women! 1876: Time to throw away the corsets and draw down on the Old West. When Horace Greeley said "Go West Young Man" he never would have thought that two young women would take his advice to heart. Striking out against all odds and risking everything to be together. Society calls them Sapphists. Chief Sitting Bull calls them "Big Magic". Buffalo Bill Cody and Wild Bill Hickok call them friends. Pinkerton's detectives want them alive.

Would you consider the audio edition of Sagebrush & Lace to be better than the print version?

I have not had the pleasure of reading the written version. The audio on the other hand was perfect, a beautiful story and an easy listen.

What other book might you compare Sagebrush & Lace to and why?

This is the first audio book I have been able to listen too the whole way through.

What does Secunda Wood bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her voice was just perfect, not too loud and not too soft. She made all of the many different characters come to life!

If you could rename Sagebrush & Lace, what would you call it?

I think the title fits the book, I wouldn't change it at all.

    Any additional comments?

Loved it! A second book would be grand...

Austen’s heroine Elizabeth Bennet deals with the issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of early 19th-century England. Austen at her wittiest.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I found it incredibly difficult to listen to the audio, the lady was either ridiculously loud or almost too quiet when she spoke.
