"This had a ton of fake 5 star reviews at Amazon..."
...which I didn't know were fake until I downloaded this thing and choked my way through listening to it. (Seriously, go read the 5 star reviews there - 100 of them all sounding like this is the best book ever written, and upon closer inspection, obviously a vast majority of them are fiction - you will agree if you listen to this book). So removing the fact that I was upset that those ratings caused me to buy this thing and waste a credit... my honest review... is that the book itself is a 2 star pretentious pile of poop... with an entirely too long parable that doesn't even come close to delivering on its promises... and that its insights are lackluster and freshman philosophy-ish at best. Download this thing if you hate money, and have absolutely nothing else to listen to. Honestly, I'd rather go talk to a stranger at McDonald's than listen to this thing. And I will never get those hours of my life back. So sad. :-(
"This is the biggest sham of something much deeper"
The shortsightedness of the metaphysics theories, and the complete misunderstanding of consciousness science.
The Bagavhad Gita
The author.
Rhonda Byrne said on a radio show that the tsunami victims in Indonesia in 2004 brought it on themselves...? Enough said.
"This one is just "okay"..."
With all due respect to Gary Vaynerchuk, who I think is a visionary and about 24-48 months ahead of the business world as far as innovation goes... this book needs more meat. Yes, there are business examples, yes, there are some interesting and funny stories... but it just didn't recapture the magic of "Crush It" which is certainly the type of book Gary CAN do, and which I rate 5.5 stars on a 5 star scale. I hope during the time he is writing his next book refocuses his attention on the few projects he wants to do well (to include his next book), because the result of spreading himself too thin could definitely be seen and felt while I was listening to this book. Sorry, but I gotta give this book a paz.
