"Hot Hot Hot!"
This is my first foray into this type of fiction. I recommend it to my girlfriends as it's a great escape and makes me daydream about what life could be like. I find myself anxious to pick up where I left off which means "is it time to drive somewhere again?" as I listen to books in my car!
When the character finally felt belittled and said "that's enough!" so now I must get the second book!
I listened to the first part with the original narrator and was surprised to hear a different one when I downloaded the remainder of the book. Becca's deep voice is much more believable than the original one. But how many times must the character say "Oh my!"?
"Interesting dilemna!"
I have recommended this to someone who has leukemia.
Anna - the 13 year old in the story. She is so strong.
Probably the one with the dog, Judge, when his owner is about to have a seizure.
Anna because I love the precociousness of teens.
The ending really fooled me. Sad, bittersweet but provided comfort in the last sentences. Thank you for that Jodi.
"Great to learn the story of Madame Tussaud"
I don't know.
The story/history of such a well known lady.
Very clear voice.
no.
Highly recommended if you like this time period.
"Missing details bugged me"
Yes because it is a story of hope.
Describe what caused most of the people to die. Make it a bit clearer who was speaking.
The reader's voice was unique which I liked, very friendly. Confusion of who was who.
No
"Enjoyable"
The small child telling his story.
the suspense to find out he succeeds in breaking free!

The attention this book received when it first came deserves every bit of it! Very good story.
"Rock stars!"
No! This book dragged on for way too long. I kept hoping the Townsend would give me some reason to like him but it never happened. Perhaps if someone else had narrated, I would have liked him better.
Different narrator.
Ho-hum, dull, so-so
no!
I suppose if you're a huge Who fan, then you'll appreciate this book more than I. I wanted to learn more about Townsend and the band but instead I ended up not liking him as a person at all. Spoiled, cheating, arrogant rock star!
"Excellent voice!"
It's a memoir so nothing to change.
Not really. It's not a very unique nor exciting story.
"Poor Ryan O'Neal?"
Have someone who knows how to read narrate this book!
Terrible!
not sure.
No
He glosses over so many events that the listener is not sure what's true. Addiction is a mental disease and one that is often hereditary. I can't believe that neither Ryan nor Farrah didn't have some issues surrounding drugs and/or alcohol.
I do not recommend this book.
