Right up there with some of the others. Not the top of the list but interesting just the same.
Some of the text was pretty technical and probably would have been hard to understand if I read it. Chris made it clear to even the most non technical person.
Takes you through the invention of the telephone to cell phones. Explores the lives of the men that brought ideas to life. Makes you understand how important these devices are what they meant to the world. Listening was probably better than reading it. I would have found the technical side boring. Having it read allowed me to understand and enjoy the book.
Conspiracy theories versus loan gunman makes it intriguing. Well researched and holds listeners attention. It is also a love story like no other that I have read or listened to in recent memory.
the scene in the Texas Book Depository had me on the edge of my chair.
When at the very end George/Jake asks Sadie to dance. It had me in tears.
I have read many books by this Stephen King. I must say, that some of them leave me scratching my head. Some I didn't even finish with less than 30 pages to go. The premises were just to out there. This, however had me from the start. The narrator was fantastic. I will listen to this book again someday.
