I have already recommended this audiobook to friends. It is well read, and the reader made it a pleasure to listen to.

    Any additional comments?

I found the story unique with some interesting twists. The only thing I dislike is waiting for the sequel. I want more now!

Any historical fiction that is so interesting I have to go look up what really happened is good historical fiction. I enjoyed this book thoroughly. I loved the main character, hated her, then loved her again. Other characters also invoked strong emotion as well. The reader did an excellent job also!

What did you love best about Strangers?

The twists and turns. Totally creepy and intense.

What about Jeffrey Kafer’s performance did you like?

He had the perfect voice for this book.

Who was the most memorable character of Strangers and why?

The Killer, primarily because you never knew much about him or his motivation, just that he was doing all of this.

    Any additional comments?

It is so nice to see horror that isn't Zombie related. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I didn't know what was coming and was thrilled to see the culmination. It came together very well!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend it to a younger person. It is what I consider to be a "light/fluffy book". it is entertaining, but doesn't have much depth.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

    the bow.

Which character – as performed by Ashley Arnold – was your favorite?

I was impressed with all of the characters.

Was Magic of Thieves worth the listening time?

Since I was doing other things while I was listening, yes. I could/would not have devoted my entire focus to this book.

The entire human race balances on the razor's edge of annihilation, beset by an enemy that turns our own bodies against us, that changes normal people into psychopaths or transforms them into nightmares. To some, Doctor Margaret Montoya is a hero-a brilliant scientist who saved the human race from an alien intelligence determined to exterminate all of humanity. To others, she's a monster - a mass murderer single-handedly responsible for the worst atrocity ever to take place on American soil. All Margaret knows is that she's broken. The blood of a million deaths is on her hands.

Would you listen to Pandemic again? Why?

Probably not. Scott Sigler should have read the 3rd book since he read the first two. I was disappointed to find a different reader even though I really hated his female voices in the first too books. I had gotten use to his reading.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

If you read the first two of your own books out of a trilogy, read the last in the series please.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

In some ways, yes. I enjoyed the story very much and was curious how it would be resolved.

A dazzling new fantasy series. A QUEST OF HEROES (BOOK #1 IN THE SORCERER’S RING) revolves around the epic coming of age story of one special boy, a 14 year old from a small village on the outskirts of the Kingdom of the Ring. Thorgrin senses he is different from the others. He dreams of becoming a great warrior, of joining the King’s men and protecting the Ring. When he comes of age and is forbidden by his father to try out for the King’s Legion, he journeys out on his own, determined to force his way into King’s Court and be taken seriously.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

if it were a different book - one with original ideas and one that didn't seem to talk down to the reader.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    nothing from this series

    Any additional comments?

the reader was the only reason I finished the book. He had a pleasant enough voice that I stuck it out to the end. He did not have much to work with though. The book was trivial, unoriginal, and rather boring. The author obviously doesn't write for young audiences very much as he talks down to the reader. This aspect added insult to an already badly written book.

Chava is a golem, a creature made of clay, brought to life by a strange man who dabbles in dark Kabbalistic magic. When her master dies at sea on the voyage from Poland, she is unmoored and adrift as the ship arrives in New York Harbor. Ahmad is a jinni, a being of fire, born in the ancient Syrian Desert.
