I have already recommended this audiobook to friends. It is well read, and the reader made it a pleasure to listen to.
I found the story unique with some interesting twists. The only thing I dislike is waiting for the sequel. I want more now!
Yes. The reader was excellent and really brought it to life.
It was an intense roller coaster ride. Just when you think you know what is going on, a sharp curve takes your breath away.
Any historical fiction that is so interesting I have to go look up what really happened is good historical fiction. I enjoyed this book thoroughly. I loved the main character, hated her, then loved her again. Other characters also invoked strong emotion as well. The reader did an excellent job also!
The twists and turns. Totally creepy and intense.
He had the perfect voice for this book.
The Killer, primarily because you never knew much about him or his motivation, just that he was doing all of this.
It is so nice to see horror that isn't Zombie related. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I didn't know what was coming and was thrilled to see the culmination. It came together very well!
I would recommend it to a younger person. It is what I consider to be a "light/fluffy book". it is entertaining, but doesn't have much depth.
I was impressed with all of the characters.
Since I was doing other things while I was listening, yes. I could/would not have devoted my entire focus to this book.
Probably not. Scott Sigler should have read the 3rd book since he read the first two. I was disappointed to find a different reader even though I really hated his female voices in the first too books. I had gotten use to his reading.
If you read the first two of your own books out of a trilogy, read the last in the series please.
In some ways, yes. I enjoyed the story very much and was curious how it would be resolved.
if it were a different book - one with original ideas and one that didn't seem to talk down to the reader.
nothing from this series
the reader was the only reason I finished the book. He had a pleasant enough voice that I stuck it out to the end. He did not have much to work with though. The book was trivial, unoriginal, and rather boring. The author obviously doesn't write for young audiences very much as he talks down to the reader. This aspect added insult to an already badly written book.
Not having seen the print version, I would have to say that Will Patton does such a wonderful job, I can't imagine wanting to read the print version now.
No clear favorite. I loved all of the major characters.
He has a perfect voice for creating the feel of the region and for making the characters come to life.
The interaction between the boys
It had refreshingly unique elements
The reader was an excellent fit for this series. While I disliked him in Doctor Sleep, I was enchanted by his voice in this
Exciting, unique, enjoyable
