The narration was very poor. It really made the story hard to follow and stay tuned in. I really could not get past the narrator accents.
The story may have been good, just not sure.
I was very impressed with the story. I am a dog person and the story was written from both the human and dogs perspective. Great Listen.
I found the book quite boring. Was very slow. The narrator's accent was too much and there was not much distinction between characters.
I have listened to many books and this was one of the most confusing. I think it went back and forth in time but I never knew when the transition happened. I lost interest but tried to continue listening. Finally just gave up.
Not sure if it was just me but it was not thrilling. I did not finish the book. I seemed to struggle through for a couple more hours in Part 2 but just gave up.
This was a "edge of the seat" for me. The story was great as well as the narration.
I could not stop listening to the book. My wife also listened and would sit in the garage after work listening. The book was written well and the narration was spectacular. I highly recommend listening to this one.
I do listen to a lot of books and this one just seemed to drag on. I listened for about 8 hours hoping it would it would pick up but for me, it just did not. I have listened to other John Sandford books and I found Sudden Prey to come up a bit short.
I love Nelson Demille books. I almost did not buy this one based on the reviews I read. I took the plunge and loved it.
