Well up top in my audio list
I think Bryce Courtenay writes amazing stories, and love that history is woven in.
Dont have a special scene i like, i think the narrator of these books truly adds so much to all the books, and i was very pleased to see the same narrator is used in all his books, as i plan to listen to all of them !
I am so pleased i discovered all Bryce Courtenay's books on Audible, i had read 2 of his books, and now i have bought quite a few books from audible and plan to listen to all of his books, they are great, you will enjoy them i am sure.
I love all Bryce's book, and the narration as always truly adds to the whole story, this book touched me because its based on fact, i could not believe what she had to endure, and it was an eye opener how the Aborigines were treated...!
Loved her interaction with the Jewish part of the story.
I am so sad that we only have 21 books to read , i absolutely love this author and his choice of narrator, in my opinion an absolute perfect fit..! everyone should read Bryce Courtenays books, well a few at least !
I did not love the narrator, but in 2 seconds i was so absorbed into Steve Job's life , i simply could not put it down, being audio it made it easy to do tasks and be absorbed in this book.
It kept me so interested in this amazing life behind these amazing products..! Thanks to this book i now have a new found respect for Apple products which i use.
At the end when Steve Jobs was dying was very touching how hard he fought to keep going.
I am so glad that i know the back story of Apple, just beyond fascinating, i knew it was a loss when he died, but after reading this, i know its more than a loss.
