Welcome to the savage and surprising world of Zoo Story, an unprecedented account of the secret life of a zoo and its inhabitants, both animal and human. Based on six years of research, the book follows a handful of unforgettable characters at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo: an alpha chimp with a weakness for blondes, a ferocious tiger who revels in Obsession perfume, and a brilliant but tyrannical CEO known as El Diablo Blanco.

Listened to this while painting a room. Time flew by and the next thing I knew room was done. Who knew elephants are so intelligent? Balanced portrayal of the ups and downs of the Tampa Zoo.

The anchor of The O'Reilly Factor recounts one of the most dramatic stories in American history—how one gunshot changed the country forever. In the spring of 1865, the bloody saga of America's Civil War finally comes to an end after a series of increasingly harrowing battles. President Abraham Lincoln's generous terms for Robert E. Lee's surrender are devised to fulfill Lincoln's dream of healing a divided nation. But one man and his band of murderous accomplices are not appeased....

Great book to listen to. Lots of suspense, even though we know the outcome. One annoying bit when listening is that cavalry (people on horses) was pronounced throughout the book as Calvary (place Jesus was crucified). I would have thought someone might have caught that before publication.
