    I am a huge Lorna Landvik fan, and this was one of my favorites. She is such a great writer, and I found myself wishing this story would keep going on and on.

    You don't have to look very hard at Drew Silver to see that mistakes have been made. His fleeting fame as the drummer for is nearly a decade behind him. He lives in an apartment building filled almost exclusively with divorced men like him, and makes a living playing in wedding bands. And his Princeton-bound teenage daughter, Casey, has just confided in him that she's pregnant - because Silver is the one she cares least about letting down.     What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

    The narrator was horrible. He has the voice of an old man, yet the character is early 40's. He reads this with way too much inflection. It just doesn't go along with what is being said.


    Would you recommend One Last Thing Before I Go to your friends? Why or why not?

    I kept wondering whether I might have liked this book if I had read it, or if there was a different narrator. Hard to tell. The story was not that great. I love Tropper, but this was very sub-par.

    I think Kristin Hannah's books can be a little sappy, but I really enjoyed this one, and was sorry when it ended. The narrator does a fantastic job, which always helps, too!

    I thought this book was very interesting. Loved the characters and the storyline. An easy listen. Couldn't help but notice the resemblence to ABC's "October Road."

    I was a little hesitant to buy this title - the subject matter seemed a little weird. But this was a great book, about the lives of two women. The author is a great writer, and the story really heartwarming. Highly recommend!
