I found this book to be boring most of the time. Too much dialogue. I enjoy the whole team and when they are left out of a story I am disappointed. The plot seemed to be a little too unbelievable. I love the series, but was disappointed in this book.

I just found this boring and was very surprised.

I just finished listening. I have to say that I was surprised by the dialogue of a "regular joe" like Jake. I was laughing at points and wondering at others. I am not sure if it was the dialogue or the narrator, but something was not right. Jake Landry would not describe the rape of his girlfriend as from one who had "wolly brown pubic hair" He lost me at that one. Nor would he stop to describe the beauty of the Canadian location as flowery as it is described. I think it is a good book with a great premise but I found myself thinking that I should have read the book, rather than listened to it.

I am enjoying this book and haven't finished it yet. But as I am reading, I find that it is the very same plot as a movie from a number of years ago. Has anyone else thought of this? I feel I know the end already because it is following the movie step by step.

I am sorry to say that I feel the same as the other reviewer. I keep thinking someone else must have written this and put Ms. Binchy's name on it. Very boring.

I tried to listen to this tape on three occasions. I love Jane Austin books but this story could not hold my attention and this doesn't happen often.

Not wanting to waste a credit, I continued listening to this book to the bitter end. I had never read anything by this author and was looking for a mystery. I found it uninteresting and almost annoying. That's it for this author.
