In a time long forgotten, a preternatural event threw the seasons off balance. In a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime, trouble is brewing. As the cold returns, sinister forces are massing beyond the protective wall of the kingdom of Winterfell. To the south, the king's powers are failing, with his most trusted advisor mysteriously dead and enemies emerging from the throne's shadow.

If you could sum up A Game of Thrones in three words, what would they be?

This book, And the entire series predictably will become known as a classic masterpiece of our time. I totally was enthralled by this entire series couldn't put it down.

What other book might you compare A Game of Thrones to and why?

I can't compare it to another series of books it's too unique, it is it's own and I couldn't begin to compare it to something else.

What does Roy Dotrice bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

This narrator does an excellent job and gives the entire series the feel of actually being there in the world created by this wonderful author

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The extreme reaction I had to this book was that I just couldn't stop reading it and couldn't wait for the next book until I was finally finished with the books that were in the series and that left me feeling sad that it was over.
