Those Terrible Hours. Squalis sank and diving bell saved many of the men
Keep it interesting
Yes, I liked the tempo and the way the characters evolved. The narration was excellent.
One of the best books I can remember.
It is a different kind of book and I cannot compare it to another.
His reading was riviting.
Excellent history lesson and a terrific listen.
I sincerely enjoyed this book. It had very good detail and presented a great look at the history of this true hero.
I found the title and the content to be different. I was less than happy to learn that the only way to move forward is with serious counseling, and tons of that. I expected to read about ways to move forward, not an ad for a shrink.
Incredible work! I absolutely recommend this if you want to examine San Francisco at the time of the great fire. Detailed and absorbing.
I have gone as far as visiting the Dallas site of the shooting. I thought I was well informed. But a year or so ago I saw a special on one of the science chanels that stated the seat for the gov was not directly in front of Kennedy as I was lead to believe from all the conspircy theories. A simple view of the limo at Parkland would show that to be a huge error! I then had doubts about a conspircy. After this read, I am firmly convinced that Oswald was the shooter and that the Warren report was very well done.
I found it to be a well writen and well read.
Very interesting and detailed.
