Don's let the description put you off what is actually a cute story. This book was suggested to me by a friend and I read the description and thought I would hate it--guy makes a bet that he can date a girl. But I actually thought it was a fun read. All of the characters were different than you would expect and the story was deeper than the impression you get by reading the description. I really enjoyed it. My only criticism is that I wished it hadn't ended so abruptly--and the tacked on 5 years later epilogue didn't help or satisfy.

I am a Wharton fan and this is one of my favorites. The narrator did a good job and really enhanced the story. Kick back with a cup of tea and just let the words wash over you.

Clever, funny and a really good story. I really like this book, although the author seemed to run out of steam in the last 20% of the book. But this modern take on the "scorned wife gets revenge by finally taking her life back" story was really well done. A fun, easy read that you won't regret.

You will laugh and you will cry, but you will never forget this book or this writer! I have over 800 titles in my library, and this is one of the ten best!

I really enjoyed everything about this one! The narrator was good and the story was fun. The characters were realistic and vivid and the family dynamic was believable and nicely drawn. Not an easy task to knit so many characters together seamlessly and realistically but the author did it and did it well.

Held my attention, but just barely. The characters weren't easy to root for and it was too long. I finished it, but can't say that it stuck with me when it was over. It wasn't bad, but there are much better books out there.

A cute story. An enjoyable read and an easy way to spend a few hours. The story was fun, the characters were a hoot (except for her father, who became a bit tiresome and frankly, should have been shoved out of the window of an airplane about 1/2 way through the book). Even the romance was sweet, funny and, as far as billionaires falling in love with people they meet on the street stories go, well done. Hard not to like.

Skip this sequel and read the first book in the series. The author must have had a 2 book deal to get this published! Inane plot, silly dialogue, needless profanity and more coincidences than a night time soap opera to make the story move along. Don't waste your time with this one.

Although a bit predictable, this sequel to Something Borrowed is a fun read. You don't have to read the first book to understand the back story because the author does a good job of reviewing the past events. Typical chic lit, but it is nice to see the main character change and evolve into a decent person by the end of the story. Of course, the character is so vile in the beginning, she has no place to go but up! It won't raise your I.Q., but it is a great beach book.

In what universe do intelligent, educated, career women think running an escort business is a smart business plan? Yeah. But that's the kind of universe the author lives in. Not amusing and beyond stupid.
