"USM; great, detailed"
I first thought this was just a "sales improvement" book. It is much more than that. It deals with every aspect of a business, leadership, managment, optimal performance and getting results. The book is very indepth, rich and provides 'take aways' after 'take aways'. I don't suffer fools (books) very well, discriminating about what I read/listen and rate this book as a "must read" to any manager or leader of high performance teams, espcially sales.
"5 Stars for "Do the Work""
"Do the Work" was well worth my time and money. Though Pressfield is a book and movie writer many of his personal apt personal examples of finishing an idea, book, script, etc are applicable to just about anyone taking on any big challenge. I am a PhD student, nearing the finish line and just hit my 'wall', struggeling to get past some difficult courses, and this book was a heavens send. Again, many take-a-ways especially for any writer but valueable for anyone else who is jumping out on faith and following a dream or idea.
"Great book - worth your time and money"
As a club player I like most struggle with mastering the mental game of tennis - frustration, negative self talk, conflict between applying instruction and execution. This book was fantastic. I bought copies and gave it to my fellow team members. Well worth your time and money. This is an investment that you will get immediate ROI.
"Definately written more for Senior Executives"
I am not a senior executive, thus just got a few nuggets (my desire is to get many nuggets when I purchase a book) which I value but it leaned heavily, with great detail about Sr Executives going into certain situations like: take overs, sustainability, etc.
