Absolutely! I immediately re-listened to the book as soon as I finished it the first time. The first time through the story grabs you and does not give you a minute to breathe. The second time through, you will appreciate how well the story was written.
This book was well written and performed. I can't imagine a rating less than 5 stars. The author created a captivating story of young teenagers with a tragic past. She was able to suck you into their stories and feel their pain, healing, and hope for that second change to life through new love. Yes, this is a YA book, but will be enjoyed by readers of all ages.
I really enjoyed both characters. I really like Kirby Heyborne, so I guess I have to go with Josh's character.
There are so many great moments in this book. I would not want to give anything away.
Outstanding writing and narration. Congratulations on an exceptional book. Katja, I look forward to your next book!
The lead character became annoying with her perpetual weaknesses.
Luke was a great character, one that you wanted to root for the entire book. The story was a bit weak.
The performance was very average. Not memorable, but did not detract terribly from the book.
Finally, a great narrator. Thank you for bringing Kirby into the mix. He made the last book. I also enjoyed the conclusion to the series.
I have listened to his books. He always does a great job. His performance in this book was consistent with his other books, very good.
The Slams very awesome! Well done!
The series is improving and the writing more interesting. I rank it just below half way down my list.
Will was my favorite character. He is a strong and interesting presence mature beyond his years.
I can't believe this narrator was considered for this book. No inflection, boring, and mild accent took away from the story.
The Slams were intriguing. Very dissatified with the narration. It really hurt the book.
I have listened to her Losing Hope books. They were outstanding! This did not hold up to those standards; however, this could be in part due to the poor narration.
Kate Rudd or Emily Gavin
Not really, but I was intrigued by her Slams.
I was not a huge fan of this series; however, I want to get to the conclusion. I would not recommend this series, but I must admit this is the best of the 3.
Yes. Justine has delivered great performances!
Yes. This book was much slower, predictable, than the earlier books.
Justine did another great job!
I like the continuation of the story through the series, even with specific character focus.
Jace finding his perfect fit.
Yes, but it would give away too much.
I loved the rock star story line with the fascinating characters introduced through out the series. It incorporated intense sex with a decent story line.
Hmmm.... this would give to much away. The entire romance between the lead characters is eye opening and intense!
She did a fantastic job with this book. Her voice is perfect for Sed, raspy and deep! Justine was able to differentiate between all the characters flawlessly.
Yes and no. Considering its intensity, I needed breaks to regroup and continue. However, the story line made me want to continue.
Backstage Pass was hot, but yet had a decent story line. I love the characters in the story.
This would give too much away. The entire progression of their romance was memorable!
No, I have not. The first book I gave her a 4; however, in book 2 I gave her a 5. Her raspy voice is perfect for Sed. She did an outstanding job with the voices!!!!
Ah, not sure I could write that here. This book is intense and hot!
Maybe. It was a fun love story, but not captivating enough to listen to it again.
Kate Rudd is an extraordinary narrator. She made the book. However, I also enjoyed Hunter's character.
Kate always does a fantastic job! She brings life to the story, portraying each character like their were more than one narrator.
