Would you listen to Frankenstein, Book Five: The Dead Town again? Why?

Yes, but not right away, I like time to lapse between.

What other book might you compare Frankenstein, Book Five: The Dead Town to and why?

The other Frankenstein books are very comparable. You don't have to listen/read the other 4 books, but it helps to understand it better.

Have you listened to any of Christopher Lane’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I'm sure I have, but I never remember the names, his voice was compelling and he made it interesting.

These stories were cute, but also quite different in substance. They were good, I did not know where the stories were taking me, but enjoyed all three. Well worth the read.

There once was a killer who knew the night, its secrets and rhythms. How to hide within its shadows. When to hunt. He roamed from town to town, city to city, choosing his prey for their beauty and innocence. His cruelties were infinite, his humanity long since forfeit. But still... he had not yet discovered how to make his special mark among monsters, how to come fully alive as Death. This is the story of how he learned those things, and of what we might do to ensure that he does not visit us.

This short story continues on a story from a novel. It was an interesting take on how the author continues on a story from another story. Enlarges a minor character from a novel to a main character in a short story. I always wondered what happened to the kid who started Blackwell into another killing spree from single women to families, unwittingly, of course.

In John Scalzi's re-imagining of H. Beam Piper's 1962 sci-fi classic Little Fuzzy, written with the full cooperation of the Piper Estate, Jack Holloway works alone for reasons he doesnt care to talk about. Hundreds of miles from ZaraCorps headquarters on planet, 178 light-years from the corporations headquarters on Earth, Jack is content as an independent contractor, prospecting and surveying at his own pace. As for his past, thats not up for discussion.

Scalzi wrote another good book. I laughed, cried, got mad at idiot characters and just had a good time listening to this book. I enjoy all the Scalzi books I have listened to. he's a great story teller. Wil Wheaton did a good job of narrating also, He and John Scalzi were a good pair of readers in this book.

This stand-alone work is widely regarded as Asimov's best science fiction novel. Andrew Harlan is an Eternal, a member of the elite of the future. One of the few who live in Eternity, a location outside of place and time, Harlan's job is to create carefully controlled and enacted Reality Changes. These Changes are small, exactingly calculated shifts in the course of history, made for the benefit of humankind. Though each Change has been made for the greater good, there are also always costs....

"Me? A leader? Okay, I did prove that there's more to Inside than we knew. That a whole world exists beyond this cube we live in. And finding that led to a major rebellion—between worker scrubs like me and the snobby uppers who rule our world. Make that ruled. Because of me, we're free. I thought that meant I was off the hook, and could go off on my own again—while still touching base with Riley, of course. He's the one upper I think I can trust. After a sad and neglected childhood as an orphan, Jane Eyre was hired by Edward Rochester as governess for his ward. Jane was pleased with the quiet country life at Thornfield, with the beautiful old manor house and gardens, with the book-filled library, and with her own comfortable room. But there were stories of a strange tenant, a woman who laughed like a maniac, and who stayed in rooms on the third floor.

The most iconic love story of all time, Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is an epic-scale tragedy of desire and revenge. Despite the bitter rivalry that exists between their families, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet have fallen madly in love. But when the long-running rivalry boils over into murder, the young couple must embark on a dangerous and deadly mission to preserve their love at any cost. An L.A.
