This book, like all the Scarpetta book series is good. Again, it refers to past books, but tries to cover the bases, in case you haven't gone in order of the past series, but it's always best to read in order, if you can.
These short stories were very good, but I am glad I listened to them, in the daylight hours. So good, then Ray Bradbury is a genius when it comes to the macabre.
This one has aliens, dogs, fires, and winter in Montana. He must like Montana, several stories are set there. It is a good story with a few twists and turns. But then Koontz is very good at that. It's a good book, try it.
Maybe some people would like this short story, but I did not. It was sort of narrated in the 3rd person/1st person. Very different and not one of John Scalzi's better short stories. The narrator was sort of stilted and read choppy. Maybe that is the way the story was supposed to be read, but just did not flow for me.
I really enjoyed this book. I like Harlan Coben in his series, but this was the first non-series book I have listened to. It was great. I never knew what would happen next. As soon as I thought I had it figured, there would be another twist and turn. So good, you have got to read it.
These stories were cute, but also quite different in substance. They were good, I did not know where the stories were taking me, but enjoyed all three. Well worth the read.
This was a good book. Some people don't know what they have until they almost lose it. The Ideal Man is one of these books.
This short story continues on a story from a novel. It was an interesting take on how the author continues on a story from another story. Enlarges a minor character from a novel to a main character in a short story. I always wondered what happened to the kid who started Blackwell into another killing spree from single women to families, unwittingly, of course.
Scalzi wrote another good book. I laughed, cried, got mad at idiot characters and just had a good time listening to this book. I enjoy all the Scalzi books I have listened to. he's a great story teller. Wil Wheaton did a good job of narrating also, He and John Scalzi were a good pair of readers in this book.
This book kept me enthralled. I like the twist and turns Roberts puts into her books and this is no different. The romance doesn't hurt either.
I enjoyed this book. The ending surprised me, but it was a good ending. Well worth the listen/read on this book.
