What made the experience of listening to Song of Susannah the most enjoyable?

The fact that I didn't have to read, and could work while listening to the supurb narator of the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jake, he's so likeable and with Oy at his side, I thing Oy makes him and Oy is so lovable and faithful.

Have you listened to any of George Guidall’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

All George's read are good, how does he do so many voices and keep them straight??

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Eddy was soooo trying to find Suzanna and the door sent them elsewhere.

Would you consider the audio edition of Odd Interlude to be better than the print version?

    Haven't read the print version

What other book might you compare Odd Interlude to and why?

Any of the Odd books and they are all good, same story line, continued into who knows where.

If you could take any character from Odd Interlude out to dinner, who would it be and why?

The little girl who helped Odd, she was a corker, and smart, strong of character, a go to and bust all girl

If you could sum up Carnal Innocence in three words, what would they be?

Kept on edge, the whole story was riveting and I couldn't wait until the end to see if I was right about who the actual murder was.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I don't know if I had any one favorite, so many were good.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, to many hours. It went longer than my 12 hour day, so I had to make it two days of listening and couldn't wait until I started the next morning, on my hour drive to work.

Roland Deschain and his ka-tet are bearing southeast through the forests of Mid-World, the almost timeless landscape that seems to stretch from the wreckage of civility that defined Roland's youth to the crimson chaos that seems the future's only promise. Followers of Stephen King's epic series know Roland well, or as well as this enigmatic hero can be known. They also know the companions who have been drawn to his quest for the Dark Tower: Eddie Dean and his wife, Susannah; Jake Chambers; and Oy.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jake, I always like Jake, young, but savvy after such a short time with the group.

What does George Guidall bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    The different voices.

Who was the most memorable character of Wolves of the Calla and why?

The padre, he really had a good story and the way it went with all things.

All good things must come to an end, Constant Listener, and not even Stephen King can write a story that goes on forever. The tale of Roland Deschain's relentless quest for the Dark Tower has, the author fears, sorely tried the patience of those who have followed it from its earliest chapters. But attend to it a while longer, if it pleases you, for this volume is the last, and often the last things are best.

Yes, it kept me laughing, crying and on my seat edge.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jake, and Oy, they were such lovable characters and I like the fact that a dog/companion could talk and really know you.

What does George Guidall bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Different voices to so many characters, how does he do that?

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, I cried when Jake died, nothing like when any of the other characters died or even when Jake died the first time. I laughed a lot too, though.
