  • Playful Parenting

    • ABRIDGED (6 hrs and 51 mins)
    • By Lawrence J. Cohen
    • Narrated By Lawrence J. Cohen

Playful Parenting means joining children in their world of play, focusing on connection and confidence, giggling and roughhousing, and following your child's lead. This audiobook is an exciting approach to raising children that will help you nurture close relationships and solve behavior problems.

Phyllis says: "Best Parenting Book Ever"
    "Great approach."

It gives great advise about how to deal with children in a non-agressive, very fun and fresh way. Ok, so maybe not everyone can do does require real commitment and lots of time to stick to the program...but hey, thats what having children should be all about, right? I have applied it (as best I could) with my kids and it really did workd miracles.

  • The Seven Spiritual Laws for Parents: Guiding Your Children to Success and Fulfillment

    • ABRIDGED (1 hr and 23 mins)
    • By Deepak Chopra
    • Narrated By Deepak Chopra

The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success was a phenomenon that touched millions of lives. Its author, Deepak Chopra, received thousands of letters from parents who expressed the desire to convey the principles they had learned to their children, along with questions about how to do so.

C F Uys says: "Such lovely practical ideas"
"Straight to the point, maybe a little bit short."

The principles detailed in recording are amazing, yes. Does it cover the subject thoroughly? Not at all. It's quite a short recording, straight to the point...maybe a little bit too straight to the point. But if you actually do as it advises, it chould bring about some amazing changes in your children amd help them become better people in the future.

  • On Becoming Babywise: Giving Your Infant the Gift of Nighttime Sleep

    • UNABRIDGED (5 hrs and 42 mins)
    • By Gary Ezzo

The infant management concepts presented in this book have found favor with over two million parents and twice as many contented babies. On Becoming Babywise brings hope to the tired and bewildered parents looking for an alternative to sleepless nights and fussy babies.

Kellie says: "Great for new parents wondering how it all works."
"Great advise, not so great reading."

This is why professionals should do the reading, it might distract you from great advice that really does work, specially if you are a new parent and need to get some peace of mind and restful sleep. Are you planning to have your first baby? Get this, it will save your life!

  • Psychic Children: Revealing the Intuitive Gifts and Hidden Abilities of Boys and Girls

    • ABRIDGED (4 hrs and 49 mins)
    • By Sylvia Browne, Lindsay Harrison
    • Narrated By Jeanie Hackett

Browne believes all children are gifted. These gifts have merely been either stifled or exploited by society over the centuries. The gifts usually appear at very tender ages; they are, in Browne's view, special blessings from God. The respected New York Times best-selling psychic shares profound stories of how children can be channels to the Other Side.

    wendy says: "loved this book"
    "This is not a manual"

Ok, so if you are interested in the subject, the content will not sound riddiculous to you. There are some ideas that might be quite new to you, particularly about 'the other side' and the afterlife...but I found them to be quite...logical, in a way. It has helped me to have a better attitude about life and death.
If you are looking for ways to develop your children's intuition or psychic senses, this is not it. This book will help you to understand that children do sense things we don't and how to react so that they don't feel like they are going crazy.

  • Day Trade Online: Start Trading for a Living TODAY!

    • ABRIDGED (3 hrs and 3 mins)
    • By Christopher A. Farrell
    • Narrated By Jeff Woodman

The explosive growth and low cost of online trading has created a new class of investor who can now make a living buying and selling stocks over the Internet in a way that was once reserved for Wall Street's most powerful brokerage firms and investment banks. Before taking to this fast-paced, high-risk playing field, it's absolutely essential that you have a firm grasp of the rules and a solid game plan.

Ken Mitchell says: "Some Good, Some Bad, Lots Out Of Date"
    "Spend money to make money"

I have always heard you have to spend money to make money. This book asks you to have AT LEAST $50.000 (yes, 50 grand)as an ABSOLUT MINIMUM capital to take day trading as a full time job. As soon as I heard that, I felt very dissappointed and stoped listening. Not EVERYONE who can purchase this audiobook has that kind of money.
