"Looking for Ways to Help?"
If you are looking for ways to help - especially w/o giving money, then this is a great listen. Mr. Clinton gives insight into what others are doing and how we can jump on the bus and start helping out in our communities and in our world. I got some great ideas and I think others can benefit from listening to this one.
"Wow--if you're a mother/working women, a must read"
A must read!
Maybe some women don't need to hear this; maybe they are already aware and changing or simply not this way, but as an executive with almost two decades of experience, this one captured my attention and then left me gaping in horror--I was hearing her describe me! Only, I thought I was alone. I wanted to hear more--who was this intruder and how did she escape?
This is one I will keep in my office and hand out like candy
"Honestly, one of the best of its kind"
Quick review, but I truly loved this book. Frankly, most of its kind are merely diversions, but this one is very well-written and clever. Worth the read and price.
I liked most of them, but loved character development and the time spent at both homes.
She gives the characters depth and voice.
"Worst book I have listened to -- EVER"
Never. Sorry. I think this book is best for young girls, under the age of 16.
No comment. I don't want to seem mean or insensitive.
Reader was ok. The story was greatly lacking.
The issue was not scene related, it was about story-telling. This story just doesn't work for me. I found myself more frustrated than entertained. Way too many holes, a super dumb main protagonist, under-developed supporting characters ... the list goes on. Ugh.
Don't do it.
"I'm an addict"
Never read the print version, but this one really takes you away and the characters and scenery are well-developed. Of the series, I liked the first one the best and was sad when it was over, but this was a close second. Keenen was my favorite character, but I was disappointed to find his story lacking in basic story line--the battle was weak, but the love story was good.
Would be a spoiler - when one of the characters is killed.
Good male voice. Odd female voice.
"Worth a listen esp. if you want a strong heroin"
I wanted to hear a bit more intrigue and perhaps have more twists, but I haven't read a suspense novel in a long time and this one was as well done as most others. I really liked the heroin and her personal struggles.
Much better than the second in this series, which rambles on and has very little going on.
Love this reader.
Yes, I would see this movie, but not the second in this series. The plot fell short.
"All the Same, but good for a laugh"
This is a silly SK book - like all of them. I love the reader and have moments of laughing out loud. This isnt for you if you're not looking for silliness.
"interesting, Insightful"
This may not be the most exciting listen, but the information is very interesting for animal lovers or anyone interested in understanding more about how we process animals in America. I think we should all understand more about this topic, and Ms. Grandin is the go-to person on the topic. Worth a listen.
"A Great American President, A Great American Read"
You must listen to the version that he reads - he is entertaining and insightful; emotional and inspiring. Another required read for all Americans.
"Required Reading for all Who Manage People!"
I live by the methods in this book - on many occasions, it has made my job much easier and my teams much happier. A long, hard road to follow, but well worth it. LISTEN TO THIS BOOK!
