Marian Caldwell is a 36-year-old television producer, living her dream in New York City. With a fulfilling career and satisfying relationship, she has convinced everyone, including herself, that her life is just as she wants it to be. But one night, Marian answers a knock on the door ... only to find Kirby Rose, an 18-year-old girl with a key to a past that Marian thought she had sealed off forever. From the moment Kirby appears on her doorstep, Marian’s perfectly constructed world - and her very identity - will be shaken to its core.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. The ending could have been better. Instead it leaves your hanging and feeling that that the big part of the story is unresolved. I'm all about series, but this one left me feeling unfulfilled.

Would you be willing to try another book from Emily Giffin? Why or why not?

    Sure.

What does Orlagh Cassidy bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Great variety on charaters' voices.

Could you see Where We Belong being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Hugh Jackman for Conrad. That's all I have so far.

    Any additional comments?

I hope that book 2 is on the works and with a better resolute ending.

The historic hotel in Boonsboro has endured war and peace, the changing of hands, and even rumored hauntings. Now it’s getting a major face-lift from the Montgomery brothers and their eccentric mother. As the architect in the family, Beckett’s social life consists mostly of talking shop over pizza and beer. But there’s another project he’s got his eye on: the girl he’s been waiting to kiss since he was sixteen.

What didn’t you like about MacLeod Andrews’s performance?

Awful! Awful! Awful! It's hard to enjoy a romantic story when the narrator can only o manly voice!

    Any additional comments?

I wasted my money buying the trilogy when the narrator is the same or all three books.
