I loved that there was a part 1 & 2
Mags grew and matured, but his core character stayed true and strong.
Nothing. What he did was create wonderful voices for each character which made the stories an extremely pleasurable listen
I passed the series on to my mother (69yrs) and when at the library with my grand daughter (13yrs) checked out the 1st book in series (my recommendation). They both loved it as much as i (49yrs) did. Excellent story for bedtime with children.
His ability to love
I had a tearfest
If you buy only one book this year this one should be it
I waited and waited for this book to come out. It did not disappoint. This story has everything you want and some that drive you crazy. People probably thought I was crazy talking to myself when in reality I was talking to the characters in this story. I loved it and will listen again. Once again J R Ward has me in the waiting place for the next book.
I read so many negative reviews about the narrator that I almost didn't purchase this audiobook. Then I listened to the sample and realized that the reviews of Becca Battoe's childlike voice was utter hogwash. I am not finished with the first book, but will definitely get the next two.
To everyone reading the reviews and not purchasing the book, listen to the sample and judge for yourself. This book read by this narrator is excellent.
Forget the favorite performance she needs to change the voice of Bones. He sounds like a wimp which does not fit the character. His voice almost made me stop listening and purchase the book to read.
All the Dark Series books have the same theme ie looking for lifemate. The claiming is so beautiful. Otherwise is the same story with different characters. Kind of like reading different versions of Cinderella. Either you like them or you don't.
