Admit it. You want to BE William Shatner. This collection of rules, illustrated with stories from Bill’s illustrious life and career, will show you how Bill became WILLIAM SHATNER, larger than life and bigger than any role he ever played. Shatner Rules is your guide to becoming William Shatner. Or, more accurately, beautifully Shatneresque.

This was really enjoyable. Laugh out loud funny and excellently narrated by Bill.

It also had great life lessons - #1 always say yes to opportunities - you never know where they will lead.

History has all but forgotten.... In the spring of 1708, an invading Jacobite fleet of French and Scottish soldiers nearly succeeded in landing the exiled James Stewart in Scotland to reclaim his crown. Now, Carrie McClelland hopes to turn that story into her next best-selling novel. Settling herself in the shadow of Slains Castle, she creates a heroine named for one of her own ancestors and starts to write. But then she discovers her novel is more fact than fiction....

When you can find a book that I like this much and my wife likes this much.... That's FANTASTIC!!

I downloaded it before a trip and we each finished it on our own. Just two of her comments: she asked who the narrators were since they were so good. I hated to disappoint her, but there is only one and she is awesome. Her other comment when she finished the book was "Are there any more books from this author?"

I hope there are more to come.

In this eagerly anticipated memoir, Palin paints an intimate portrait of growing up in the wilds of Alaska; meeting her lifelong love; her decision to enter politics; the importance of faith and family; and the unique joys and trials of life as a high-profile working mother. She also opens up for the first time about the 2008 presidential race, providing a rare, mom's-eye view of high-stakes national politics - from patriots dedicated to "Country First" to slick politicos bent on winning at any cost.

"An amazing story, very well read"
    Overall

This is a fantastic audio book. I bought two of her hardcopy books at one of the tour signings (that was the limit), but gave them as presents. So I downloaded the audio book for myself. What a surprise! She does an excellent job reading the book and sharing not only her story, but her personality.

It is a very honest look at her life and really shows the inside story of her political career without the filter of a biased media.

I highly recommend this book, especially in the audio format.

As dusk approaches a small Dublin suburb in the summer of 1984, mothers begin to call their children home. But on this warm evening, three children do not return from the dark and silent woods. When the police arrive, they find only one of the children, unable to recall a single detail of the previous hours.

Twenty years later, the found boy, Rob Ryan, is a detective on the Dublin Murder Squad and keeps his past a secret. But when a 12-year-old girl is found murdered in the same woods, he and Detective Cassie Maddox find themselves investigating a case chillingly similar to the previous unsolved mystery.

    "A GREAT Book"
    Overall

This is a great book. A very talented writer and very well narrated.

I don't understand a lot of the reviews here. It seemed like most people loved the book but were disappointed because the ending didn't wrap everything up neatly like a Mission Impossible episode. I thought that just made the book more realistic and intriguing.

This is an excellent book that I highly recommend. I look forward to Tana's next book!

A Mardi Gras mask connects the serial rapist, her missing sister, and the murders. Armed with a black belt in mathematics, actuary Liz Matthews uses intuitive and analytic skills to unearth a trail of blackmail and betrayal. Meanwhile her relationship with Jack splinters and even more bodies turn up that need counting.

This was the worst audible book I've heard. The story was jumbled and the characters were not realistic. The worst part was the way it was read. It sounded like a chipmunk version of a Christmas song - too fast and expressionless.
