"Intense - on the edge of your seat...."
Great book that catches your interest from the second paragraph through to the end - which is a huge surprise by itself. My only complaint is that my maiden name is Haller and hearing the pronunciation is like chalk on a blackboard. Other than that - I absolutely loved it. I listened to the last chapters several times - amazed at the twists that I didn't see coming. Highly recommend this book to anyone who likes good intrigue and really knows how to pronounce HALLER.
"Draws you in"
Great page turner, intense and well-written suspense novel. I enjoyed it so much, I'm now involved in reading his subsequent books!
"Phenomenal reading"
No other way to say it - this trilogy is a must read and will become an all time classic. Spellbinding, intriguing, smart, and a hundred more descriptives. Don't miss it.
"Intense insight"
The Bin Laden event sounded so simple and clear cut. Read the book. Amazing, scary, insightful and - as though I didn't respect SEALS enough already - that respect has multiplied exponentially.
"Dumbest book ever"
I have no idea how this book got any stars from anyone. Stupid premise along with over the top, hoakie drama, this writing lacks any believability or credibility. I can't knock Loreli King's performance - but she really doesn't have anything to work with! I paid $4.95 for this book & want $20.00 refunded to me for the aggravation of listening to this junk. Don't waste your time or money on this loser!
"Really Believable Story Line"
I thoroughly enjoyed this book - from the development of the character to the twisted story line. I found Joe to be a particularly likeable central character - who gained your sympathy without being pathetic, and the different and difficult story line. Read it! You'll enjoy it.
"Best Evanovich"
Great story line and unfolding plot - fun, funny, easy listening - I think this is the best Stephanie Plum book in a long time. Her crazy relationships are pushed to new limits, her ability to find trouble is bigger and better than ever and overall - I found it to be a very delightful book.
"Fabulous - spell-binding"
High energy, intense plot, great story. I was spellbound by this book. The story is cleverly crafted; as the story unfolds, you see how the pieces fit together - but still the end is amazing. There are points in the dialogue that are stunning - I listened again and again. Larsson is brilliant - making it all the more sad in his loss. He was an incredible writer.
"Amazing, fascinating, important history"
As a child of the 1960's, I knew, on some level, that people lived like this. Listening to this book brought forth questions, ire, sorrow and a joy that - for most people, we have evolved beyond this. Well read, solid, and so interesting that I stayed up to the wee hours of the night to listen. Excellent book.
"Fabulous"
I have 2,000 characters in which to describe this book. I will do it in 9 characters and one word. FABULOUS!
