"My favorite book in the whole world!"
The hunger games is perfect in every way. I love the fact that the author uses a girl to be the main character. Katniss Everdeen has everything it takes to be a heroine, she's brave, smart, intelligent, courageous...... But she also has her weakness. How could she kill a boy that told her he loved her and gave her bread when she was poor, hungry and desperate? She has to, cause there is only one person that can survive the hunger games. Or would she rather sacrifice her life for Peeta?
There was of course, some romance in the book, but not the kind you would find it unreal or discusting. In the country of complete dictatorship, what would happen if Katniss did save Peeta? Would they live happily ever after just like in fairy tales? Or would they just risk there life into more danger than ever?
The story really did give me some deep thoughts. You would realize that there are so much tough and difficult choices you need to make in life. The only way to survive is to fight, be cruel and cold-blooded, or is it? I think this story is better for teenagers like us cause this is the time when we're struggling the find the ture meaning of life.
I love this book very much. I really hope you can enjoy this book as well as I did.
"Trust us!!"
See? Everyone who read this book had loved it. Why not give it a try? Honestley, in my opinion, this book is so much better than the twilight saga. I read lots of books like this, and I can asure you it's one of the best!!
"Worst vampire book ever!!!"
At first I thought the story was just going slow, than I began to realize that was not the case. Marked was not only predictable, but also pointless (if you know what I meant by that). If you're a twilight fan, I suggest vampire academy or the mortal instruments series is much worth your time.
"The sort of story that would caught me off guard."
Love this story so much!! It's one of the " unpredictable kind".I know you may be thinking that Edward Cullen is one of the sexist thing that ever walked on earth, but wait until you meet Jace Wayland. Unlike Twilight, this story is not all about romance, which was a relief to me. I really like the characters: Clary, Jace, Magnus..........Jace in particular(though not in a romantic kind of way). Anyway, you have to BELIEVE me, it's an awsome story
"Certainly Great Reading!!"
I know some people would not enjoy this book because it's mostly not what they 've been expecting. At first, I was sort of dissapointed, even feel bored, but then things started to get real exciting in the end. To read this book, you have to have patience and maturity, and you'll find it valuable. Really great book, great narration too.
"Love it."
Shadow kiss is definetley the best of all series. But to read this, I suggest you have to be alleast 14 or up. I love this whole series and unlike Twilight, Richelle Mead made the story unpredictable so.....yeah. If you enjoy romance or vampire books, this would be the best choice.
