"Boring"
Sorry, but for me this story was tedious and boring. I finally quit listening, jumped to the end to make sure that at least someone got out of this story ok, then went on to another, better story. Wish that I hadn't spent my money on this.
"Butcher does it again!"
It's hard for me to get any work done when listening to Butcher's books. A great listen. It's great to have Marsters narrating again. It was great to see Mouse again.
"Excellent!"
This was my first experience with this author and I was going to pass it up until I read it was about a dog. What can I say . . . a great read! I was so hooked I got to bed too late then was almost late to see my client. I will most certainly check out more of his books (along with telling all of my dog friends about it).
"Very good"
First and foremost, as much as I have enjoyed Davina Porter's narrations of the earlier books, David Colacci has done an excellect job also. He knows how to narrate female voices without making them sound like idiots (like Michael Page does).
Watching Monk's life and humanity evolve and his deep love and respect for Hester is a pleasure. And, I'm glad that they've found Scuff.
"Bravo"
Barbara Rosenblat is an excellent narrator. She brings life to the characters and, along the way, makes you forget that all of the voices are coming from the same person. Her wide range of character voices includes believable male voices.
The entire series is excellent. I wish there were more.
I've listened to this series more than once and enjoy them fully. I'm unable to list a most or least favorite seen.
When I grow up, I'd like to be as moxie as Mrs. Pollifax.
