"Great follow up to the last London book"
This is one of my favorites this year. Great story, the narrator did the accents perfectly. Very good.
I liked the twists and turns.
He does a wonderful job with the accents, both the UK and the US.
no
More Private and Private London please!!!
"Two unrelated stories with a too simple ending"
This book seemed a little sloppy. Easily resolved problems and no reason to get involved.
I usually love James Patterson and his co writers, but this one was not up to the standards I am used to.
Definitly not. One was more than enough.
"Not my favorite"
Yes, I would
The beginning was a little slow - once the story got moving it was good - if you can allow yourself to believe in the world Cline created.
Roy Porter did a great job with the accents of the different characters.
I am going to say yes. It was not great, but good company while working in the yard and walking the dog.
"A great book with a surprising ending"
I loved this one. Part Jackie Collins, part mystery, part just plain old fun!
Michael Kramer did a great job on all the characters. Sometimes the accents were a little hookey, but still good.
I will be listning to this book again - soon!
"A good, but sometimes rambling story"
Probably not - althoug the story was good, the many side detours and made this a hard listen.
It depends. We discussed this book in bookclub yesterday and the response was that half really liked it and the other half thought it was slow
No, the book tied up everything very nicely.
"Not the best Harlan Coben book, but OK"
The tempo of the book was actually a little show and the characters were not as likable as previous books.
Scott Brick has a very distinct way of reading books.
No, I think this book is fine on it's own.
"A very emotional, but incredibly good book"
The narrator was really good and the story itself made you keep listing.
Hearing about the life of this family through the eyes and ears of a dog.
No this is the first, but I wil be looking for him.
"Light and fun"
This book was a really fun and easy summer book. The author developed the characters well and the story was consistent. The narrator did a great job reading.
"Good, but...."
John Sandford is one of my favorite authors, but it feels like the Prey series is getting a little tired. I felt like this book was missing the surprises and that the story was too simple. Usually there are some twists, but with this book the case was solved a little too easy. I suggest checking out Sandford's Flowers series instead.
"Fun and entertaining"
This book was made even better by the fact that Tina Fey reads it. The story jumps a little bit back and forth, but it offers a great glimps into Tina Fey's life at 30 Rock as well as her time with Saturday Night Live. I found myself laughing out loud a couple of times. A good book for women that likes to hear success stories and the struggle it took to get there.
