Makes you feel like a child sipping hot cocoa while a loving adult reads an adventure to you.
Take a break from Tricycle, Chodron, Surya Das, et al and get back to basics with this beautifully read tale that reminds us to stay aware of the core of Buddhist thought.
Great story and Fantastic Narrator.
When's the whole book coming out!?
Over the top bizarre in some areas and completely dull in others.
Some nice historical tidbits, but a real let down after Brown's other great books.
I think the narrator should take most of the blame for how tedious it was to get through By Order of the President. While there were many voices and accents, Mr. Hill's slow pace and monotone, emotionless reading put me to sleep.
The book itself had too many unnecessary characters about whom nobody cares and too many Dickensian relationships.
There is no character that you care about and the story is just dull.
I lasted through the first 20 minutes of this nonsense and had to turn it off.
A bunch of inchoerent ramblings that some might think passes for humor.
I am hoping I can get my credit back.
This should have been an interesting listen.
Juicy details about the Bush Administration, Rove, Scooter, and Iraq...
But, Scott McClellan makes two big mistakes:
1. He goes on and on and on about his childhood, puberty, high school, college years. Scott! I don't care if you wore the wrong color shirt to a big game!
2. He narrates it himself and he is the dullest reader you can imagine. His droning sounds will put you into a deep slumber.
I am ordinarily very focused and can concentrate on the task at hand, but I have even been missing the important historical comments because Scott McClellan is such a miserable narrator.
Codex 632 is not awful, but you really need to have a keen interest in linguistics to get through all the dry passages.
This is a complte waste of time for anyone who isn't wasting money like a drunken sailor.
I also am not interested in the Christian lectures.
A "Haunting" is right! A pointless nightmare of gore and sex.
I was so inspired by this book that I purchased the Fast Detox Kit on line and started the program. I am only on day 6 (before the fast) and feel fantastic!
At first I was annoyed that I didn't have the instructions in writing. I went on to Audible to send an e-mail complaining about this, but realized that you can download the instructions and recipes from the site!
This plan is easy to use and will do your body a lot of good.
Try it! You'll like it!
