Five years after the crashof TWA Flight 800, the government has declared it a result of mechanical failure. But John Corey, an ex-NYPD detective who is now a contract agent with the Federal Anti-Terrorist Task Force, is persuaded by Kate Mayfield, his wife and task force partner, that the case deserves a second look.

    "90% of a Book"
    Overall

I have really enjoyed other works by this author, and looked forward to this based on some of the previous readers positive feedback. I was fooled, and urge anyone else to be forewarned. The ending of this book is a farce, and if you listen to the bitter end (as I did) you will hear the author admit that he did not have an ending for the book so his son came up with one. Mr. Demille is a great author, but he seems to have taken a big left turn on the road to success.

Aidan and Sarah Cooper have no idea what they’re getting into one afternoon when they discover a mysterious coded document in a secret compartment of an antique English desk their father recently bought at an auction. Something about the document seems familiar to Sarah, and that night she realizes what it is: the document seems to be referring to some books she has read - the Starcatchers series, about the origin of Peter Pan. But how could that be? The document seems far older than the books. And of course, the books are just stories....

Angie says: "Another great Neverland book"
    "The Bridge Too Far!"
    Overall

We have listened to all of the Peter and the Star-catcher's books and were excited to find a new release in the series. This book is nothing like the previous works, and it is truly awful! We stuck with it for one hour hoping it would get better, but it never did. The narrator is OK, but even the great Jim Dale couldn't make this book enjoyable. Save your credit and look elsewhere for something you will be able to enjoy.

With unforgettable characters, a sweeping backdrop, and passionate storytelling, this is a fantasy debut to rival that of Robert Jordan. Filled with adventure and bloodshed, pageantry and piracy, mystery and menace, Assassin's Apprentice is the story of a royal house and the young man who is destined to chart its course through tempests of change.

    "Less than promised"

I purchased this book part because of reviews comparing it to the Jordan WOT series. While the book is well written, it is heavy on detail and light on action. I kept listening thinking it was just about to become exciting, but it never quite happened. The narration was very good, which helped me to make it through this. If your thinking about purchasing this book, I recommend you thumb through a hard copy first.

    "Still worth a listen"
    Overall

I agree that it is always better to have the unabridged work. Still, the Heritage series in this format gives you main points of the story, and I find it (and the narrator)better than some I have listened to. My biggest gripe is that they switched the narrator for the 4th book. If your a fan of Terry Brooks, I think you'll enjoy this.
