National best-selling author Frank Peretti is an undisputed master of supernatural thrillers. The Oath has sold nearly a million copies and won the ECPA Gold Medallion Award for best fiction. When a nature photographer is killed and mutilated while camping, common sense points to a rogue bear on the prowl. But the search for answers uncovers a century of sin-and a beast of ghastly power. Filled with chilling suspense and unforgettable imagery, The Oath is an epic tale of good versus evil.

Jeff A says: "The worst ending since "Lost"."
"Kept me interested all the way through."

Would you listen to The Oath again? Why?

As good of a book this was I doubt I would read it again. I am the type of person who RARELY ever reads a book more than once, watches a movie more than once, or listen to a book more than once.

What did you like best about this story?

How the story portrayed sin and how to defeat it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wanted to, yet life seems to get in the way :)

    Any additional comments?

If you like fictional christian based books than this is a must read.

Guy Montag is a fireman. In his world, where television rules and literature is on the brink of extinction, firemen start fires rather than put them out. His job is to destroy the most illegal of commodities, the printed book, along with the houses in which they are hidden. Montag never questions the destruction and ruin his actions produce, returning each day to his bland life and wife, Mildred, who spends all day with her television "family."

I listened to this to see what my son is reading. Good concept, but in my house cuss words are not allowed. Needless to say I wasn't overly enthused by this book.

That being put aside. It was a challenge for me not to fall asleep through the book.

Would you consider the audio edition of Every Day a Friday to be better than the print version?

I am unable to compare the two.

What about Joel Osteen’s performance did you like?

It is his own words and who could better demonstrate his own thoughts?

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Live every day to it's fullest.

More than a million listeners have thrilled to Bill O'Reilly's Killing Lincoln, the can't-stop-listening work of nonfiction about the shocking assassination that changed the course of American history. Now the anchor of The O'Reilly Factor recounts in gripping detail the brutal murder of John Fitzgerald Kennedy—and how a sequence of gunshots on a Dallas afternoon not only killed a beloved president but also sent the nation into the cataclysmic division of the Vietnam War and its culture-changing aftermath.

    Kristina says: "MUST READ/LISTEN"

Would you listen to Killing Kennedy again? Why?

I rarely ever read / listen to a book more than once, but for some reason this fascinates me. In my parents minds Kennedy was somewhat of a hero, a good man, a good president. Seems like there were only a few parts of president Kennedy that stick out in my mind before this book. Now I have a better glimpse of the man and my mind wants to review it all again.

Have you listened to any of Bill O'Reilly’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination That Changed America Forever. They are both very good. My mind tends to favor the Lincoln book a bit more, because I have always had a fascination about him over any other president after Lincoln.

    Any additional comments?

If you enjoy Bill O'Reilly's books, talk show, etc... You should read / listen to this as well as his other books, because he does a VERY good job at drawing a person in / making the story line memorable.

The anchor of The O'Reilly Factor recounts one of the most dramatic stories in American history—how one gunshot changed the country forever. In the spring of 1865, the bloody saga of America's Civil War finally comes to an end after a series of increasingly harrowing battles. President Abraham Lincoln's generous terms for Robert E. Lee's surrender are devised to fulfill Lincoln's dream of healing a divided nation. But one man and his band of murderous accomplices are not appeased....
