After listening to this audiobook and reading my dog's expression, it is obvious that she truly hates being patted on the head. Honestly so would I. If not for this book, I would have never figured this out and would continue to irritate her instead of making her happy. Patricia McConnell has a knack at describing dog's expressions and behaviors in a manner that even the most inexperienced dog owner can understand. Her use of wit, humor and even heartbreaking stories helped me to better understand what my dog has been trying to tell me. Why she reacts to strangers in fear and how to help her overcome that fear. I cannot wait to listen to the book again. I am even considering purchasing the DVD on this book. I strongly advise any new or old dog owner to listen to this audio. It is fabulous tool for the dog owner! And I am sure your dog will appreciate it too!
As I said before, I am not a fan of time travel novels. This series is so captivating. When I finished Outlander, I couldn't wait to get started on Dragonfly in Amber. Gabaldon is amazing at her limitless ability to keep the reader glued to her story.
I do not particulary care for time travel novels. A friend of mine begged me to try this book. I was hooked from the very beginning. Gabaldon writes an excellent story with great descriptions of the Scottish Highlanders. And the characters are sooo captivating. They become part of your life. I cannot say enough about this series. You've just got to read it to see what I mean.
This book is another example of Stephen King's ability to keep readers spellbound. I was glued from Page 1 to the very end. The story is so real you can almost imagine this happening in real life. Really makes you think.
This book is written from the heart. Liz Gilbert spills her innermost secrets and thoughts in this audiobook. She describes situations and feelings that we have all experienced at one time or another. Not only is the story moving, Liz Gilbert displays a very humorous, down-to-earth personality that adds to the story. She is someone you would love to meet.
I liked this better than The DaVinci Code! Every time I thought I was at the end, Dan Brown would throw in another twist. Lots of detail that was so interesting and never boring. I was captivated from start to finish. I highly recommend this audiobook.
