    Excellent for a first book! I loved the way she weaved history into the story. I think she would have been able to open up the book to a bigger audience if she had not used so much technical, or "bookish" language in her descriptive parts. Overall, I loved it and hope to read her next book!

    On a scale from one to ten with ten being great I would give this a 5 only because it does capture your interest after you get half way through. If you decide to get this be prepaired for a lot of flash backs.
