I expected a murder in paris. I bought it based on the review and - dont waist your time on this one. It was one of the books audible offered when they do their sales, so for 4 bucks - I didnt loose much.
This was the first time I listened to Osteen. I do not listen to religious books. and I was blown away how positive this book was, helpful and a must read.
A friend who read this recommended it, said its a good read and a fun story. It is a good listen to as well. I enjoyed this book. My first experience of this author. I will be listening to the next book. I recommend it, its light, fun, little crazy too
I have enjoyed the entire Private series, however I have come to realize trying to listen to this book is very challanging. The Ausie Tongue sounds so sexy at first - but for me trying to listen to this book is very hard. This is the first book I would recommend that someone not listen to - because of the thick Ausie accent and I think you may want to read the book instead.
Every young person, high school / college along with us all need to be to know when it comes to social media. best example is someone who got fired for posting something on facebook. it happens. I wish i had read this book a year ago.
The overall story is a good one, real good. But Thor spent too much time confusing me in the begining of the book bouncing around. It made it very hard to get into. Once the book gets rolling - its a great story. Thor wasted pages and pages on the group that went into North Korea - he never tied them into the ending of the book. He needed to spend much more time developing the last portion of the book.
This is not Berry's best work. But he does a nice job explaining the Mormon's and how messy their relationship has been with the United States over the years. Something that is good to know. Secondly, how fragile the relationship between states and the Fed is, is very interesting. The overall story was ok. I think I learned more in this book than enjoyed listening to a book.
I love the way cussler writes and have for years, is this one of his best books, no, but its a good book. much better book than a lot of other books out there. A cussler book is like coming home to friends.
First agree with me that Dan Brown will never write another book as good as Da Vinci Code, Therefore Moore will never write anything as odd as The Gospil according to Biff. Doesnt mean that we should not listen to the new books they write. It was a welcome break to listen to Pocket and all of his mayhem. So much fun to listen to. I found myself laughing out loud in my car as I would listen to his silly nonsense. Enjoy it - I have a feeling Pocket will return in another adventure. I hope he does. Right ! Cheers !
I hate the down time between my favorite author's books coming out. So the search for someone new to listen too. Will I like them or not. I have found quite a few not's. But in this case I was really happy to find Peterson. Its a good book and just what I was looking . btw my authors of choice are Cussler, Berry, Thor, Silva, Patterson (private)
This book was very hard to get into. It did not grab me or keep my attention. Not for me.
