Yes, It was a wonderful listen. A story written by one pompous ass about other pompous asses. Not as good as The Great Gatsby but definitely up there.
It was a short book. I liked the whole journey. I will be buying more of F. Scott Fitzgerald's work and I will read this one again. What I like best is this man knows how to tell and great story with minimal words.
He was perfection. The accent and the attitude. He had it all.
Leave the title. It is perfection. F Scott Fitzgerald picks great titles.
Read it. It is part American history most people don't experience first hand.
It is definitely up in top. I have read a lot of Audio books. This was my grandmother's beloved book when I was a child. I still have it. What a flood of memories listening to this caused. Amazingly unexpected, like running into an old childhood friend.
Anne of course but they are all wonderful characters.
I have not but she is wonderful.
Glorious Trip Down Memory Lane.
Artemis. She is my hero.
I loved them all but as I said before Artemis kicks ass.
Agapi is an amazing presenter. She made be smile and laugh and yes tears stood in my eyes a couple of times.
Read it and read it again. Loved it.
I will give it another listen because I find the information presented in the book interesting and actually very important in the growth of the soul.
I feel like a lot of significant information is missed when one listens to a lecture but arent't present at it. You can't see the slides or powerpoint presentation that the people at the lecture can so you are left at a disadvantage.
I read Archetypes before this one on Sacred Contracts. Archetypes was very detailed and I did not find anything new in this book but Archetypes was written after Sacred Contracts to expand on the material and you can't really find your contract without knowing your archetypes.
Advice: Read Sacred Contracts first then Archetypes.
I would. The material is so important for growth it is definitely worth a listen.
The author/presenter's voice is so grating and tinged with arrogance and is so annoying that it detracts from the presentation. She keeps people at a distance with her tone so she does not have to defend her self against those who might question her.
Not in this one, read Archetypes after. You will be moved when she is speaking about yours. You will hear the voice of God under the grating, condescending tone of the speaker.
