"NIce Story"
This was a nice pleasant pass time. I choose books like these when I don't have time or focus to put into huge epics, which are my favorites. Light beach reading, wasn't boring.
"Spit my coffee out laughing"
The story line is ok. Nothing profound but decent. But the way she puts things and the narrators "timing" is awesome and well worth the time to read something fun.
"Pretty Good"
I only read these kinds of books when I'm too busy to put the brain time into something more epic. So I can't rave like some of the other reviewers, but I will say - for a short time escape from reality...I liked it. I think the following books can be predicted but if I need another book like this I would consider purchasing the next one.
"Repetitive"
In general the basic story is fine. Not great but able to keep my attention. BUT I don't think the author reads her work because she repeats herself over and over and over AND over. One tends to roll their eyes and want to fast forward though a third of the dialogue.
"I can live with it"
Of course any Dresden fan is going to be disappointed with the narrator...It's like changing the Harry Potter actor after the 5th movie or something, and the other reviewer is correct - Marsden IS Harry Dresden. I read the paper book first with Harry's voice in my head...then downloaded the audible version. I have fixed it in my head that Harry's voice wouldn't be the same as a ghost (more tinny) than if he was in his own body...and this narrator does sound like he's "reading" the book". However, that said, the story itself is as always awesome, and a must read.
