I love Rob Bell. This book is exactly what I needed. It reaffirms everything I have always believed.
I thought I would take a chance on a fantasy book, and it was everything feared it may be. If you are a fan of this genre I am sure it is wonderful. It was like the audio book of an RPG video game. RPG's are boring enough to play let alone listen to.
I listend to about two hours of this crap, and that is all I could handle. It seems like an interesting concept, but it was boring on every level. If you grew up in the 60's it may appeal to you. I hated the fact that there was very little dialogue, but rather the author droned on and on about every minute detail. I hate that style of writing.
This was an ok book. Not great, but not bad. The narrator has been beat up pretty bad in other reviews. I think reason the narrator didn't work is because the main character is a 15 year old boy, and his narration was just not believable. It especially atrocious when he did female voices. I actually felt embarrassed for the narrator. This is the first book in a series. I will not listen to the rest of the books.
If you like The Colbert Report, you will love this book. It is dripping with sarcasm, and satire.
Great Dean Koontz book! Very entertaining! Well worth the credit! This is my 4th Dean Koontz book, and it is my second favorite next to Twilight eyes.
If you like obsessively descriptive authors then you would love this book. I hate it when writers are trying to add words for the sake of filling the book. It takes at least 4 hours for the book to take off. Now if it were a 25 hour book I would be ok with that, but it is an 8 and half hour book. The book is extremely dark and disparaging. I hated it! The only good thing about the listen was the narrator he did a great job!
The content is actually very good, but this is by far the driest sales book I have ever read or listened to. It did reaffirm what I already knew about the sales process, but it put me to sleep in the process.
This is the first series I have listened to. The first book was great, but the second and third were too much misery, and not enough victory. The series drones on and on about misery. The ending left me mad for days. Very disappointing!
Dan Brown is so consistent. I have read all his books, and I know exactly what he is doing all throughout all of his books, and he still surprises me at the end. This book is no different. Paul Michael is a brilliant narrator.
This is One of the top 3 sales books I have ever heard, and I have read a lot. It is not your typical Rah Rah sales book (thank God)! She really explains a lot of techniques and the psych0logy behind them. A must listen for anyone in management or sales.
