Kate Burton is an excellent reader and the story could have been great if Cornwell hadn't put Scarpetta on such a sad, depressed, paranoid trip.
War is gruesome.... and more than half of this book is just that. Edward Hermann did a terrific job narrating it. Not an easy read... would not recommend it to the faint of heart!
This book drags and drags and drags... very disappointing. I should have read the other reviews before buying it. Have read many of his other books and have found them to be quite good in most cases.... this one is a bore!
this could be a thinly disguised Nancy Drew mystery.... am sure it would appeal to 12 year olds
I have read or listened to all of Jonathan Kellerman's books and find this one to be much much below his level in writing. Please bring back Alex and Milo ....
